Marianne of Tristain Queen of Tristain

Marianne is the former Queen of Tristain and the mother of the current Queen Henrietta.

Early lifeEdit

Marianne is the only daughter of Philip the Great.

Heiress presumptiveEdit

As Philip's only child, Marianne was heir presumptive to the throne of Tristain.



Marianne and her husband Henry acceded as coregents; however, Marianne did not exercise power during her marriage to Henry. After Henry's death, Marianne briefly became queen regnant.


Marianne abdicated in favor of Henrietta following Tristanian victory at Tarbes.[1]

Personal lifeEdit

Marianne was married to Henry, an Albionian prince and younger brother of James of Albion.

Marianne is a descendant of Brimir through the royal houses of Tristain. Through her father Philip III of Tristain, she is a distant cousin of the Duke of La Vallière and his daughter Louise de La Vallière, who are members of the royal house's cadet branch House of La Vallière.


Marianne may be named after the national emblem of France Marianne, an allegory of Liberty and Reason, and a portrayal of the Goddess of Liberty.
