Karin, Duchess of La Vallière is the wife of the Duke of La Vallière and mother of Louise de La Vallière.

Karin was born Karine Désirée de Maillart, the younger daughter of the House of Maillart.
Military career[]
Karin became acquainted with Princess Marianne of Tristain as her knight.[1] She later became the captain of the Manticore Knights.
Personal life[]
Karin married the Duke of La Vallière. They had three children, Éléonore, Cattleya, and Louise.
Origin[]
Karin may be based on Carin du Rietz, a Swedish woman who became a guard in the Högvakten in male disguise.
